Lamb Burger
I'll be upfront y'all… I'm a tough critic when it comes to food. I don't hand out praise easily, and I've walked out of plenty of "highly recommended" spots feeling underwhelmed. Rose & Crown is not one of those spots. My partner and I stopped in for brunch on April 12th and were seated upstairs — and honestly, that alone set the tone. The open concept, the breeze rolling through, the views overlooking Windy Hill… it's the kind of ambiance that makes you slow down and actually enjoy where you are. Warm, relaxed, and genuinely inviting. Then came the food. I ordered the lamb burger with fries, and I have to say — it exceeded every expectation I walked in with. The lamb was perfectly seasoned, the fries hit exactly right, and the whole plate just felt intentional. Nothing felt like an afterthought. My only regret? Not coming sooner. This place has clearly been delivering, and I've been sleeping on it. That won't happen again — I'm already planning my next visit to work through the rest of that menu.

Absolutely loved everything! The cocktail was excellent, my entree was delicious, the dessert was amazing and the service was out of this world!!!

I had the pleasure of dining at Rose & Crown Tavern and I'm still thinking about the French toast. It was hands down the best I've ever had— perfectly fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness. You can tell there's real intention behind every detail, from the flavor to the presentation. That level of care doesn't go unnoticed, and it truly elevated the entire experience. I'll definitely be back!
Fish Sandwich review by Gary
Had such a great night at The Rose and Crown Tavern! We sat up on the rooftop, the weather was perfect, and Kurt Thomas was playing which made the whole evening even better. We had the beer battered fish and chips sandwich and the steak salad, and both were so good! The fish was crispy and flavorful, and the steak salad was fresh, generous, and absolutely delicious. Between the food, the rooftop atmosphere, and the live music, it made for a perfect date night. Highly recommend!
